Fishing in the Alps, the best spots
Alpine lakes
From Lake Tovel, with its crystal-clear waters teeming with varied species of fish, to Lake Santa Giustina, where night fishing is allowed, and to Lake Smeraldo, ideal for beginners; the lakes of Trentino offer fishing experiences for every level.
The Val di Non canyon
The canyons and gorges, modelled over the centuries by the passage of water, offer spectacular and unforgettable landscapes. Here, fishing is a true adventure: in the midst of steep rock faces and areas of wilderness lie the most desirable catches, ideal for those looking for direct contact with Alpine nature.
River Noce
Divided into three fishing areas, the Noce is home to marble, river and hybrid trout. Some sections feature a trophy zone, where fish of more than 50 cm in length can be found. For safe fishing, thigh boots and waders with mountain boots are essential.

Once you have arrived at your spot, remember to note the day, the fishing area and whether it is morning or afternoon, according to the time. On capturing a fish, you must make note of the species of salmonid caught and the area of capture. In the case of catch & release, you must also note the length of the salmonid.
