An authentically Italian and green lifestyle
The Pineta gives you the opportunity to experience a dream holiday in the midst of the Alps, while still respecting the environment. Chalets made with locally sourced wood, clean solar and biomass energy, organic local produce, charging stations for electrical vehicles: every choice has been made to reduce environmental impact and make you feel part of an authentically Italian and ecological lifestyle.
A hotel in the natural heart of Trentino
The Pineta is surrounded by forests and mountains: this is where we were born, where we have grown and where we live, surrounded by nature. This is why we are so committed to reducing our environmental impact, because caring for nature also means caring for ourselves. When you choose The Pineta, you become part of a shared process dedicated to sustainable tourism: a responsible model for travel that protects the territory and celebrates its resources.

Photovoltaic and solar panels
We use photovoltaic and solar panels for the on-site production of renewable electrical and thermal energy. The electricity that you use and the heat that you feel are produced by the sun, with no environmental impact.
Biomass boiler
We use a biomass boiler to eliminate the use of energy generated with fossil fuels through the use of wood chips obtained as a by-product of local lumber processing.
Water saving
We reduce the consumption of water both in the spa, via flow control and the optimisation of swimming pool consumption, and in the gardens and green areas, with sustainable irrigation systems.
Local wood
We use locally sourced wood to build our chalets and structures, fully embracing the philosophy of green building. The fragrances that you can smell are from our forest.
Natural products
We use products that respect the environment both in the kitchen and the spa: from homemade jams and Alpine dairy butter for breakfast, to essential oils made from meadow herbs for treatments.
Recyclable and biodegradable packaging
All the packaging for the produce that we use in the kitchen and for personal hygiene products is made from ecologically friendly material.
Low-environmental-impact detergents
From the rooms to the SPA, from the kitchen to all communal spaces, we use only the highest-quality detergent, combining sanitising properties with respect for the environment.
Grander technology
We use Grander technology to energise the water from our mountains, limiting both the use of chlorine in the pools of the wellness centre and the use of detergents.
Recycling and reuse practices
We implement practices that promote the reuse of towels and linens or the recycling of waste through the sorting of recyclable materials and the use of composting.
Opportunities for exchange and training courses
We organise opportunities for exchange that involve our collaborators, working together to create the best possible working environment founded on shared values and perspectives.
Collaborations, workshops and events
We promote initiatives that involve the community and the local area, with the purpose of celebrating local products and services, and supporting projects for redevelopment and environmental protection.
Three charging stations for electric vehicles
The resort car park has three charging stations for electric vehicles. A way to help those embracing ecological mobility choices. We also offer one free full charge for guests staying for at least three nights.
Shuttle bus service
We do what we can to help you reduce the need for cars. Both when coming to and travelling from The Pineta: you can arrive by train, and we will come to pick you up, or you can leave your car at the hotel and let us take you wherever you want to go within the region.
